All the hoopla over the racism in the most recent RE game, Resident Evil 5, is unfounded according to the British Board of Film Classification. In an interview with Kikizo a representative of the BBFC stated that they saw nothing which they could deem as potentially racist, contradicting much of what has been said in many previous analyses. I personally think all the hell that's been raised about this is ludicrous. Of course the zombies are going to be black: its Africa after all. Any of the REs in North America had white zombies, REs in Spain had tan colored zombies, and I'm sure that any one taking place on Mars would have green or grey colored zombies.
